DDC Chairman Doda Distributes Motorised tricycles among beneficiaries.

0 Doda, October 13: District Development Council Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal today distributed 23 Motorised tricycles among Identified Specially Abled persons here at Dak Bungalow Doda. Chairman handed over motorised tricycles along with keys and documents to the beneficiaries.
District Social Welfare Office Doda organised this programme for distribution of motorised tricycles among specially-abled beneficiaries under the the scheme of J&K Rehabilitation Council.
Chairman was accompanied by Vice Chairperson DDC Sangeeta Rani Bhagat and District Social Welfare Officers Doda Tariq Qazi and other concerned officials of the Social Welfare department.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that the Motorised tricycles shall empower the beneficiaries in the field of livelihood earnings. He also urged the unemployed beneficiaries to avail any of the self employment schemes for establishing their self employment business unit and start the career of their choice.
