Doda, September 21; District Development Council Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal Inagurated Marsoo Water Supply scheme under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). The Chairman was accompanied by Vice Chairperson DDC Sangeeta Rani Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan, SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom, SE Hydraulics, Ex En Jal Shakti department Doda, local PRIs and general public of the area.
It was informed that the Water supply scheme Marsoo Part inaugurated today has estimated cost of Rs 285.08 lakhs and shall cater the water requirement of Kithyara, Thal and Jathi area. The source of the WSS is Bray Nalla and Daligoth Nalla. The water supply scheme shall have different components civil (Inlet tank, sedimentation tanks, service reservoirs, filtration plants) and laying and fitting of the pipes for gravity main and distribution system which shall provide 55 FHTC’s. The WSS is expected to be completed during the current financial year 2022-23 and on its accomplishment water shall be provided quantatively and quantatively to the public under scope.
