DODA POLICE RESCUED A MAN FROM COMMITTING SUICIDE AT KHELLANI DODA

Jan-02, 2025: Doda Police has rescued a man successfully who was about to commit suicide at Khellani Doda. Police said that a distress call was received at Police Post Khellani from Dial-112 that one person namely Manish Kumar age 20 yrs S/o Mohinder Kumar R/o Paryote Doda was about to commit suicide from the height of the cliff.
Immediately after the receipt of the telephonic information, police swung into action and a police team of Police Post Khellani led by PSI Manish Singh In-charge Police Khellani rushed to the spot and prevented the man tactfully from committing suicide. Said person was brought to police post and counselled. Further after certain inquiries he was handed over to his family. People of the area have appreciated the role of the police in saving a precious life.
