0 Doda, October 17; On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan Checking Squad including Naib Tehsildar HQ, TSO CA & PD, SI police, AD legal metrology, DO DFCO along with Enforcement staff, today Conducted market checking of various category of essential commodities particularly sweets, milk & milk products, Backery items acorss the different markets of Doda City. As a part of the ongoing extensive drive to ensure availability of Safe, qaulity, fresh, and wholesome food items to the Consumers and public, the squad focused to sensitise the market ahead of Festivities, emphasizing over the initiative of Hygienic practices, Cleanliness sanitation and to avoid overpricing as well as adhering to the packaging & labelling regulations, display of rate lists at the prominent places of the rstablishments and trade outlets covered under the mandate of Law. All the Food Bussiness Operators and vendors were imparted with awareness and instructions.
During the vigorous inspections Rs.2300 was Compounded for the gross Violators and 02 were challaned under insanitary conditions.
Besides, the Shopkeepers were asked to maintain high standards of Hygiene, qaulity and warned of not to violate the rules. Further, it was also informed that this special drive will continue in the larger public interest.
