DC Doda inaugurates ‘Doda Hub’ a free workplace for Entrepreneurs and Innovators of the district under ADBHUT Doda initiative

Doda, August 09: Under the aegis of indigenous Adhbut Doda initiative, District Administration Doda has been continously working to create a viable environment to promote gainful employment opportunities and innovations challenging the local issues and aspirations in the District. ‘Doda Hub’, which was inaugurated today by the Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Mahajan at District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Doda, to provide a workspace to promote innovation among young and budding entrepreneurs of the district, with all the logistic support including WiFi free of cost initially for a period of one year.
The free Internet/gadgets, office accommodation, and furniture shall be made available to the Doda Hub by DE&CC Doda.

Dy Director, DE&CC shall be the nodal officer, while JKEDI Doda will work as supporting agency for the Doda Hub.

Doda Hub shall provide a platform for young entrepreneurs and assess them with various updated facilities to convert their best ideas to innovate new things. The newly launched Doda hub shall have their own website for young entrepreneurs. During the program, DC directed the Dy Director Employment to make use of the workplace for creating the new ideas, capable of resolving the local aspirations and bringing more livelihood opportunities for the youth in the district.

The zonal Manager JK Bank, other Banks, Agriculture and Allied departments, and the department involved in the Self Employment schemes shall visit the Doda Hub frequently and provide the youth reasonable opportunities for innovation and enterpreunership in their respective fields.
The DC Doda informed that our innovative ideas darwn from the Youthon Festival were sent to the SMVD University for further research, designing, development, and recognition. The DC directed the participants to create ideas to recycle waste material and come up with new Start-Up plans to cater to the needs of local market and public issues.

The youth belonging to more than twenty entrepreneur agencies applauded the efforts of District Administration for considering their genuine aspirations and creating opportunities for their overall progress and prosperity.

The programme was attended by ACD Doda Phulail Singh, Dy Director Employment Doda Idrees Lone, LDM Parveen Kumar, Zonal Manager JK Bank Bua Ditta, CAO Doda, AD Fisheries, other concerned officials and members of various entrepreneurship agencies.
