DIPR holds an impressive programme at BVM School under ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign

Doda, August 11: The district Doda came alive with vibrant celebrations as it joined the nationwide “Meri Mati Meri Desh” campaign initiated by the Government of India, alongside the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ movement. The District Information and Public Relations Office, Doda under the guidance of Director, Information and Public Relations, Jammu and Kashmir UT – Minga Sherpa and Joint Director, Information and Public Relations, Jammu, Atul Gupta, orchestrated a colorful event as a part of ongoing ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ Campaign at Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) School situated near Radhay Sham Mandir in Doda Town.

The entire event, meticulously organized under the supervision of District Information Officer Doda, Mohd Ashraf Wani, received a warm welcome from the students and staff of the school. The program was chaired by President Municipal Council Doda, Ved Prakash Gupta, and District Information Officer Doda, Mohd Ashraf Wani. The school’s grounds resonated with the vibrant spirit of the initiative, hosting essay/ debate competitions, painting contests, and a spirited rendition of the National Anthem.
The students of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Doda, passionately depicted freedom fighters through their art, melodiously sang the national anthem, and eloquently shared insights into India’s glorious struggle for independence. Chairman Ved Prakash Gupta praised the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff in enhancing the school’s educational standards, striving to offer top-tier education to the students.

District Information Officer Doda, speaking to the media, emphasized the richness of India’s culture and tradition. He stressed that India has historically been a global leader and continues to progress towards reclaiming its past glory. Wani urged all participants to uphold their responsibilities within the framework of the law. DIO Doda also administered Panch Prana Pledge on the occasion. The prizes distribution function was also conducted, and the best three students in painting, singing, and essay/ debate competitions were awarded with trophies and Certificates. The students who got first prize in debate was Mansi Devi , second prize in debate goes to Bhanu Pratap and third prize got by Sunandhan Sharma The first prize in painting got by Aradhya Sharma, second prize by Sohani Thakur and third prize got by the Sandeep Singh. In the singing competition, first prize got by Konalika Deep, second prize got by Sumit Singh and third prize got by Anuj Sharma

The event culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks presented by the Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Doda, Jagmeet Manhas, to the chief guest and guest of honor. The air was filled with patriotic fervour as the program concluded with the resounding chorus of the national anthem led by the chief guest, guest of honour, teaching staff, and students. The event saw the presence of Principal Jagmeet Manhas, the dedicated teaching staff, and enthusiastic students of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir. The officials of the Information Department Doda Pawan Gupta, cultural assistant ,Yasir Shiekh account Assistant, and Mansoor Tariq cameraman managed the event.
