*Doda Admin retrieves 15 Kanal Prime land from encroachers; Demolishes illegal structure at Thathri.*

Doda, January 30; District Administration Doda under the directions of its Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan today, carried out major eviction and demolition drive at Thathri Sub Division near main town of Thathri and retrieved state/ government land worth more than 10 crores. The eviction/ demolition drive was conducted by SDM Thathri along with Tehsildar Thathri and SHO Thathri.
It was reported that 03 Kanal commercial land at Ring Road alongside Bus Stand Thathri was retrieved by removing encroachments. It was reported that the Government rate of land retrieved at the site is 66 Lacs, while market rate of the same is about Rs. 05 Crores.
The land has been handed over to Municipal Committee Thathri for utilisation as parking space.
It was also given out that an under construction column structure on prime State Land alongside National Highway was also demolished by the team and 12 Kanal of State land in Khasra No. 803 was retrieved. The Government rate of the land retrieved is 84 Lacs, while market rate of the same land is above Rs.06 Crores.
A multi storey illegal structure under construction was also sealed and taken over by the Government at Thathri.
It was also informed that the anti encroachment drives shall continue in the district until all the illegally encroached land is retrieved and all the illegal structures raised are demolished in the district.
