Earthquake shakes Distt. Doda & Other parts of J&K

Doda,13 June: Today at 13:33 PM. An Estimated earthquake of 5.2 magnitude.

In the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake is said to have happened close to the village of Gandoh Bhalessa.


Strong tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir. The shaking was felt in other parts of north India, including national capital Delhi and its adjoining areas.

Affected countries: India, Pakistan, and China.

In the incident building of Govt High School Joura Khurd of Tehsil Kahra got partially damaged due to which two students namely
01. Insha Banoo D/o Rehman R/o Shamdalain a student of 10th class

02. Asia D/o Riyaz Ahmed R/o Shamdalain Tehsil Kahra, both the students of Govt., High School Joura Khurd got injured. Both have been shifted towards CHC Hospital Thathri for treatment.
