Doda, November 23; Government Higher Secondary School Assar today celebrated its annual day in which District Development Council (DDC) Chairman, Doda Sh Dhanantar Singh Kotwal was the chief guest. On the occasion, students mesmerized the audience by presenting a variety of cultural programmes besides, drama, folk dance, songs, skids and school Tarana.
Speaking on the occasion the DDC Chairman appreciated the efforts of Central government headed by PM Narinder Modi in dealing with the challenges of internal security, Corona pandemic as well as international issues.
Chairman stressed on need to deal effectively the threat of drug addiction which is more serious in nature. Law implementing authorities should act strict against those who are involved in drug smuggling.
Chairman advised students to excel in various fields of education with full spirit and confidence to achieve success.
